MODULAR TYPEFACE: BOLLMAN
Inspired by Lloyd Wright's Bollman House

Bollman is a modular typeface inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright Jr.’s Henry O. Bollman House (1922), a place I am lucky enough to call my home. With an emphasis on geometric patterns and the layering of materials, I referenced the architecture with a hybrid of Mayan Revival and Art Deco aesthetics. The typeface also functions as a collection of stackable shapes that can be combined to make new structures. Each glyph should function on its own and in communication with others. I hope my typeface is visually appealing to all audiences beyond architects and designers!
